📋 Description

• Serve as financial analyst for Business Unit Controllers and Associate Directors of Finance • Prepare, reconcile, analyze, and report business unit revenue, contracts, projects, and associated metrics • Produce financial and business analyses, interpretation, and investigation of operational data for assigned projects and contracts • Ensure reporting activities are accurate and completed within established timelines • Record monthly revenue for Unit, Fee for Service, and Fixed Price contracts • Load project budgets into Oracle/Revenue Wizard and maintain project setup data, key member lists, schedules, and associated systems • Draft monthly project-level actual-versus-budget/forecast variance analyses and reports • Draft monthly financial-results forecasts and backlog forecasts • Meet deadlines for Revenue and Backlog submissions • Prepare project closeout reconciliations • Review executed Work Orders and Change Orders for bonuses or other anomalies • Capture, assess, and consolidate results with the Business Unit Controller • Draft annual cost and expense budgets, cost rates, cost and expense forecasts, utilization, headcount, revenue backlog, and gross profit reports • Update predefined reports • Attend project meetings, kick-off meetings, and monthly project review meetings • Set up newly awarded projects in financial systems and schedules • Monitor assigned project health, including revenue, gross profit, receivables, unbilled amounts, closeouts, and reconciliations

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent education and experience • Minimum of zero to two (0 - 2) years of related experience • Pharmaceutical or CRO experience preferred • Strong English proficiency • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Proficiency with accounting software packages • Experience with Oracle Finance preferred • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, organizational, interpersonal, and teamwork skills • Excellent financial, communication, and interpersonal skills • High level of personal motivation to achieve • Demonstrated ability to work with confidential and sensitive data • Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines • Ability to occasionally move about inside the office and between office locations • Ability to maintain a stationary position for prolonged periods • Ability to occasionally lift, carry, or move light to medium weights of 10–35 pounds • Ability to constantly operate a computer and office productivity equipment • Ability to perceive and assess written materials for prolonged periods • Ability to frequently communicate with colleagues by phone, email, and in person
