📋 Description

• Extract the .NET backend from desktop dependencies • Containerize the backend with Docker and make services run headless • Build the on-prem server product from its first commit • Set up CI/CD pipelines for building, testing, and publishing images • Develop installation, upgrade, rollback, configuration, licensing, and secrets-management flows for on-prem deployments • Take over authentication tasks • Build MCP servers and agent skills for platform operations • Write deployment documentation for AI agents • Drive work to a finished, deployed state and raise blockers early • Contribute to growing a small senior Platform team • Develop observability and telemetry for deployed instances • Make progress toward cloud-native infrastructure supporting a SaaS solution • Report to Ben and collaborate with Sven, the broader engineering organization, and the Chaotic Chimeras team initially

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building backend software in C#/.NET • Track record of decoupling backend logic from a UI or desktop layer • Experience extracting services, removing hard dependencies, and making code run headless and under test • Production Docker experience, including multi-stage builds, Linux images, and image-size control • Experience building and owning CI/CD pipelines • Experience packaging software for vendor-uncontrolled environments, including on-prem or customer-hosted installation, upgrades, configuration, and secrets management • Daily use of AI tooling and interest in building agent-facing platform tooling • Ability to work autonomously and drive work to a finished, deployed state • Professional working proficiency in English • Residency in Germany or willingness to relocate to Germany • Alignment with Synera's Core Values
