📋 Description

• Author and maintain automated UI and API tests using Playwright and TypeScript across trading, custody, and customer-portal surfaces • Work daily with agentic AI tools for test planning, code generation, failure triage, and PR review, while verifying outputs before release • Triage nightly regression and smoke runs, distinguish product bugs from environment noise and test defects, and file actionable bug reports • Link failing tests to known bugs, release them when fixes land, and prevent silent skips or warning-based failures from hiding defects • Run and maintain test suites in GitHub Actions CI and help keep pipelines green, fast, and trustworthy • Maintain traceability of test cases in test-case-management tooling • Fix small application bugs and improvements in the product monorepo through the standard PR and review process • Review teammates' test PRs and respond to review findings with evidence • Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product owners across a globally distributed team

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on experience in software testing, QA automation, or software development — typically 3 to 6 years relevant experience • Working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, or clear evidence you can pick a language up quickly • Solid grasp of web applications and HTTP APIs: requests and responses, status codes, JSON, authentication • Genuine interest in AI-assisted engineering and comfort using AI tools while critically verifying their output • Excellent written English • Attention to detail and honest reporting • Strong candidates usually bring several of the following: hands-on experience with Playwright (or Cypress/Selenium); experience building or maintaining a shared test framework; exposure to financial services, trading, or capital markets; WebSockets/real-time data; SQL/PostgreSQL; CI pipelines such as GitHub Actions; familiarity with digital assets or blockchain • Nice to have: performance or load testing with k6, JMeter, or similar
