📋 Description

• Design, configure, and implement complex regional network solutions for new business opportunities, organic growth, M&A, and application services • Work with departmental and enterprise switches, routers, firewalls, VPN gateways, IP telephony, IVR, ACD, SD-WAN appliances, WAN accelerators, load balancers, and other network technologies • Provide full operational support for global and regional network services • Support customer access to revenue-generating applications and colleague access to business systems • Resolve mission-critical and extremely complex issues with rare assistance from senior engineers • Organize work and track tasks to ensure project deadlines are met • Mentor and develop junior engineers • Update documentation with new findings • Use support contracts and collaborate with vendors and partners to optimize service reliability, performance, and efficiency • Provide technical guidance to junior engineers

🎯 Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience • Bachelor’s Degree with Network Engineering or related field of study required • Master’s / Postgraduate Degree with Network Engineering or related field of study preferred • Cisco Certified DevNet Professional • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Security • CCNP Collaboration with 2+ concentrations • F5 or other load balancer Certified Technical Specialist • Knowledge of state-of-the-art tools and techniques to reduce network latency and optimize network performance • Ability to execute instructions and request clarification when needed • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations • Ability to recognize and attend to important details accurately and efficiently • Clear communication skills • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management • Strong multicultural interpersonal skills • Strong leadership skills and willingness to lead, create new ideas, and be assertive • Strong organizational and time management skills • Ability to work under stress and pressure with high workloads and deadlines • Ability to maintain social, ethical, and organizational standards • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information • Ability to build effective working relationships • Ability to learn new systems and technology quickly • Advanced use of relevant computer system applications • On-call availability as necessary • Some travel required
