📋 Description

• Design, configure, and implement complex regional network solutions for new business opportunities, organic growth, M&A, and application services • Build solutions involving switches, routers, firewalls, VPN gateways, IP telephony, IVR, ACD, SD-WAN appliances, WAN accelerators, load balancers, and other network technologies • Provide full operational support for global and regional network services • Support customer access to revenue-generating applications and colleague access to company systems • Resolve mission-critical and extremely complex situations with rare assistance from senior engineers • Track tasks and ensure project deadlines are met • Mentor and develop junior engineers • Update documentation with new findings • Engage vendors and partners to optimize service reliability, performance, and efficiency • Provide technical guidance to junior engineers

🎯 Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience • Bachelor's Degree with Network Engineering or related field of study required • Master's / Postgraduate Degree with Network Engineering or related field of study preferred • Cisco Certified DevNet Professional certification • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Security certification • CCNP Collaboration with 2+ concentrations • F5 or other load balancer Certified Technical Specialist certification • Knowledge of state-of-the-art tools and techniques to reduce network latency and optimize network performance • Ability to execute instructions and request clarification when needed • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations • Attention to important details with accuracy and efficiency • Clear communication and information conveyance • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management • Strong multicultural interpersonal skills • Strong leadership skills and willingness to lead, create new ideas, and be assertive • Strong organizational and time management skills • Ability to work under stress and pressure with high workloads and deadlines • Ability to maintain professional, ethical, and organizational standards • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information • Ability to build effective working relationships • Ability to respond sensitively to others' needs and concerns • Ability to quickly learn new systems and technology • Advanced use of relevant computer system applications • On-call availability as necessary • Some travel required
