• Provide administrative support to lawyers handling Australian personal injury claims. • Prepare, format, and file legal documents, correspondence, briefs, and court forms. • Manage case files, ensuring all documentation is organized and up to date in the case management system. • Liaise with clients, medical providers, insurers, and other stakeholders to obtain records and schedule appointments. • Coordinate diaries, court dates, deadlines, and reminders to ensure compliance with procedural timelines. • Assist with the preparation of briefs for counsel, mediation, and settlement conferences. • Conduct basic legal research and gather supporting documentation as directed. • Monitor emails and communications to ensure timely responses and follow-ups.
• Diploma, certification, or degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field preferred. • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a legal administrative or legal assistant role, ideally within Personal Injury law. • Exposure to Australian personal injury processes, court procedures, and compensation schemes is highly desirable. • Proficiency in legal document preparation and familiarity with case management systems. • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines in a remote work environment. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal practice management software.
