📋 Description

• Administer and maintain GNU/Linux operating systems and virtualized/containerized environments including OpenVZ, KVM, and Docker • Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot cPanel/WHM and Plesk in shared hosting environments • Troubleshoot and optimize web applications using WordPress, Laravel, PHP, Node.js, and Python stacks • Configure and maintain network protocols, firewalls, and WAFs including ModSecurity and Imunify360 • Identify, respond to, and mitigate security incidents such as malware, phishing, and DoS attacks • Troubleshoot mail flow and deliverability using Exim, Dovecot, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and external mail relays • Monitor services and tune performance across Apache, Nginx, LiteSpeed, MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL, and Redis • Support migrations of hosting accounts, virtual machines, and mail systems • Assist with disaster recovery, backups, failovers, caching, and CDN strategies • Collaborate with the technical team and resolve complex client support issues

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of hands-on experience in the web hosting industry in both technical support and system administration • Advanced proficiency in Linux system administration and troubleshooting • Familiarity with Windows Server environments, including IIS and MSSQL • Deep understanding of cPanel/WHM, CloudLinux (LVE, CageFS, Selectors), PHP configuration, and shared hosting constraints • Proven expertise configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Apache, Nginx, LiteSpeed, and other HTTP web servers • Strong grasp of web server mechanics, relational and NoSQL databases, and server-level debugging of complex web applications • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and network protocols • Ability to manage escalated support tickets and collaborate with peers to provide custom technical solutions • Proficiency in Bash scripting, Python utilities, and Ansible playbooks is nice to have • Experience with WHMCS backend architecture and custom module integrations is nice to have • Familiarity with high-density enterprise server architectures and large-scale account consolidation workflows is nice to have • Professional fluency in English is highly advantageous • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in the web hosting industry
