📋 Description

• Design and develop the business logic and backend systems of the product • Collaborate with frontend developers to design and develop functional, high-performing, complete APIs • Decipher existing company software systems and connect applications to applicable data sources • Write unit and integration tests • Develop automation tools for daily tasks • Produce high-quality, well-documented, efficient code • Challenge ideas and opinions to avoid pitfalls and inefficient solutions

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a backend developer using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent • Deep knowledge of object-oriented programming and SOLID engineering principles • Significant experience writing and utilizing autonomous, service-oriented RESTful APIs • Experience performance tuning large-scale applications • Experience with SQL and NoSQL database systems, including MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, or Couchbase • Experience integrating with JavaScript frameworks; React is a plus • Experience with RDBMS, Kafka, and Kubernetes • Ability to write effective unit, integration, and API tests • Knowledge of immutable infrastructure, infrastructure automation, and provisioning tools is nice to have • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies • Experience as a developer on a cross-functional agile team is preferred • Strong communication skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts • Sound problem-solving skills and ability to process complex information clearly • Team collaboration and interest in emerging/disruptive technologies
