📋 Description

• Serve as the outsourced Controller for a portfolio of US-based clients. • Communicate proactively, participate in calls and meetings, and ensure every interaction reflects high standards for service and responsiveness. • Onboard new clients, building out the accounting processes, systems, and procedures. • Lead special projects including system migrations, M&A preparation, budget development, chart of accounts redesigns, and other strategic financial initiatives. • Prepare and review timely, accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and management reports. • Provide strategic financial guidance to clients around growth, investor reporting, and compliance. • Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of overall accounting and finance experience with at least 3 years in a Controller role at a US-based public accounting firm. • Demonstrated experience supporting investor-backed (VC/PE) or high-growth businesses with > $5 Million annual revenue. • Deep technical proficiency across US GAAP, financial reporting standards, and US compliance including payroll, sales & use tax, property tax, and business licenses. • Hands-on experience in NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks Online/Desktop, and Advanced Excel. • Ability to manage multiple client engagements concurrently without compromising quality. • Experience managing, mentoring, and developing a team of accounting professionals. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English. • Keen attention to detail and an obsession with accuracy, integrity, and dependability in all work.
