📋 Description
• Working with more senior staff, you’ll handle much of the day-to-day operations for our clients (transaction entry, invoicing, bill payments, payroll preparation, journal entries, reconciliations, etc.) • Your daily tasks will be cleanly organized in Karbon, our practice management system, a critical tool that will set you up for success managing work across multiple clients. • As you work, you’ll always stop to ask questions of your team when you aren’t exactly sure what needs to be done - whether inside a client’s books or another client system.
🎯 Requirements
• Accounting and payroll experience in a multi-client environment with US-based clients. • College degree required. • CPA/CAS firm experience is a strong plus. • A proficiency in cloud accounting technologies with at least 2 years running payroll, paying bills, and handling all day-to-day transactional duties with US-based clients in multiple industries (3+ years in NetSuite, SAGE, Intaact, QBO, Bill.com, Advanced Excel, Gusto or other payroll software, etc.) • Advanced analytical skills to interpret large data into meaningful interpretation of financial reports. • At least 2 years of experience in accounting and reporting for PE and/or VC funded portfolio companies. • Experience in managing audits for clients is a strong plus. • Ability to manage deadlines across multiple clients with an awareness of what needs to be prioritized. • Joy and a positive attitude in all communications internally and externally.
