📋 Description

• Configure, manage, and maintain SIEM platforms for log collection, event correlation, and alerting • Develop, implement, and fine-tune threat detection use cases, correlation rules, and playbooks • Triage, analyze, and investigate security alerts and incidents • Escalate critical issues to senior SOC members • Integrate firewall, IDS/IPS, endpoint, AWS, and Azure log sources into SIEM systems • Optimize SIEM alerts to reduce false positives and improve detection accuracy • Collaborate with SOC analysts, incident response teams, and IT/security teams on threat mitigation and remediation • Generate reports on SIEM performance, incident metrics, and security trends • Maintain documentation of processes and procedures • Integrate threat intelligence feeds into SIEM systems • Develop Python, PowerShell, or similar scripts to automate repetitive tasks • Stay current on cybersecurity trends, SIEM technologies, and attack vectors

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (preferred) • 4-5 years of experience in cybersecurity • At least 2 years focused on SIEM administration and management • Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms such as Sentinel, Splunk, IBM QRadar, ArcSight, or LogRhythm • Previous experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment is highly desirable • Proficiency in SIEM architecture, data collection, and event correlation • Knowledge of network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud security platforms and SIEM integration • Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or similar languages • Understanding of TCP/IP, network protocols, and enterprise network security technologies • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication skills for reporting, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration • Preferred certifications include CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, and Microsoft Certified SC-900/SC-200 • Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms and SIEM integration • Applicants must provide truthful information; falsification results in disqualification
