📋 Description

• Build, maintain, grow, and secure Teladoc Health's healthcare platform • Determine courses of action based on guidelines and modify processes and methods as required • Apply learned techniques and contribute to analysis and investigation to solve problems • Provide standard professional advice and create initial reports and analyses for review • Provide technical leadership to a small engineering team on a project-by-project basis • Create engineering tasks from product requirement documents • Conduct code reviews for engineering peers with a focus on member experience • Architect and develop features and core platform capabilities focused on member experience • Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and services using PHP/Symfony and React • Design database schemas, optimize queries, and develop automated test code using PostgreSQL • Deploy and maintain containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm • Support and troubleshoot applications running in Linux environments • Build and maintain cloud-native solutions using Microsoft Azure services • Update code to improve scalability, availability, performance, operational efficiency, and data-processing workflows

🎯 Requirements

• 2.5+ years of CS industry experience • 3+ years of engineering design and software development experience specialized in member-facing applications and services • 3+ years of experience developing applications using PHP and Symfony • Experience developing modern web applications using React • 3+ years of experience designing database schemas and writing optimized SQL queries using PostgreSQL • Experience deploying and managing applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm • Experience building and supporting applications in Microsoft Azure environments • Working knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and command-line tools • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience • Ability to provide technical leadership to a small engineering team • Experience with PHP, Symfony, React, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, SQL, and PostgreSQL • Ability to pass identity and credential verification, interviews, and fraud or misrepresentation screening
