📋 Description

• Report to the Controller • Handle general ledger functions, including prepaids, commissions, credit cards, bonuses, provider payments, accruals, and close processes • Manage month-end accruals and assigned reconciliations • Own prepaid schedules and monthly reconciliations • Collaborate with the cash application team to book receivables and open transactions accurately before month-end • Assist with the AP inbox and other accounts payable tasks • Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close procedures, including journal entries and account reconciliations • Manage payment processors including Rippling, Tiplati, and Deel • Own the PO/PR process across all BetterHelp segments • Prepare balance sheet and income statement fluctuation analyses for management reporting • Identify and implement automation and process improvement opportunities • Assist with projects and ad-hoc assignments • Provide schedules for audit and SOX requirements • Support intercompany and international transactions using foreign currency accounting

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in accounting • Solid understanding of accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations • Strong mathematical skills • Superb time management and detail orientation • Proficiency with Google Drive, Google Sheets, Excel, and Query • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail • Experience with foreign currency accounting • Identity and credential verification, live or video interviews, and fraud or misrepresentation screening as part of the hiring process
