📋 Description
• Design, implement, install, operate, update, and troubleshoot complex IT infrastructure components • Manage terminal server environments, virtual server infrastructures, backup and recovery systems, Linux and Windows servers, patch and lifecycle management, databases, secure file transfer environments, monitoring solutions, and standardized platforms and applications • Independently manage incidents, problems, and escalations through last-level support • Support consultation, planning, and technical design of IT projects • Coordinate tasks, timelines, and deliverables involving external service providers, IT specialist groups, and operational business units • Act as the primary contact for last-level and highly complex technical issues • Design and implement automation solutions, including scripting • Conceptualize routine and operational activities • Create and maintain technical documentation • Participate in on-call rotations and scheduled work outside standard business hours for maintenance and technical changes • Perform ITSM roles including Incident Manager, Problem Manager, Change Manager, and System Coordinator • Ensure compliance with information security requirements and proper handling of privileged access rights • Adhere to confidentiality obligations, contractual and legal regulations, and ISMS policies • Report and support resolution of security incidents
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or comparable qualification preferred but not mandatory • Minimum 5 years of hands-on systems engineering and server/system administration experience in complex enterprise IT environments • ITILv4 Foundation certification • Fluent German at B2/C1 level or higher • Fluent English at B2/C1 level or higher • In-depth knowledge of virtualization technologies, especially Proxmox • In-depth knowledge of backup and restore products, such as Veeam • Willingness to learn, resilience, and flexibility in a dynamic IT environment • Structured, goal-oriented, and analytical working style • Strong ownership, organizational, and coordination skills • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities • Excellent communication and teamwork skills in an international environment • Ability to explain complex technical topics clearly • High commitment, reliability, and hands-on mentality • German-language CV required
