• Design, implement, operate, and continuously optimize complex IT infrastructure components • Act as a last-level technical expert and ensure stable, secure, and standardized IT services • Independently manage incidents, problems, and escalations • Support the consultation, planning, and technical design of IT projects • Coordinate tasks, timelines, and deliverables with stakeholders • Act as the primary contact for last-level and complex technical issues • Design and implement automation solutions, including scripting where needed • Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation • Participate in on-call rotations and scheduled work outside business hours • Ensure compliance with information security requirements and regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable qualification preferred, but not mandatory • Minimum of 5 years of proven, hands-on experience in systems engineering and server/system administration within complex, enterprise IT environments • ITILv4 Foundation certification • Fluent German language skills (at least B2/C1 level) as well as fluent English skills (at least B2/C1 level) • In-depth knowledge of current market technologies in virtualization (Proxmox) and backup/restore products (Veeam, etc.) • Very high willingness to learn, strong resilience, and flexibility in a dynamic IT environment • Structured, goal-oriented, and analytical working style with a strong sense of ownership • Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities • Excellent communication skills, a strong team-oriented mindset in an international environment, and the ability to explain complex technical topics clearly • High level of commitment, reliability, and a hands-on mentality.
