📋 Description

• Develop and maintain Keet Desktop, a cross-platform P2P communications application • Implement UI/UX using React and the Pear runtime • Optimize application performance • Build and maintain robust frontend functionality for decentralized communication • Contribute to applications involving messaging, file sharing, and collaborative environments • Work with open-source technology supporting peer-to-peer connections and data replication

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience with React/Preact and modern JavaScript/TypeScript in production-scale applications • Strong competency in state management using Redux, Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or similar • Ability to write modular, maintainable, and well tested code • Solid skillset in testing and debugging complex frontend applications • Deep interest or experience with P2P technologies or distributed systems • Comfort working in a remote, globally distributed team • Good communication skills • Excellent English communication skills • Preferred: experience with desktop application development using Electron, Tauri, or similar runtimes • Preferred: familiarity with video/audio APIs, WebRTC, media streams, and real-time communication • Preferred: demonstrated ability to optimize UI performance, including rendering and memory management • Preferred: experience building cross-platform applications for macOS, Windows, Linux, or similar • Bonus: past contributions to open-source software projects, especially in P2P or decentralized technology
