📋 Description

• Develop and maintain Keet Desktop, a cross-platform P2P communications application • Implement UI/UX using React on the Pear runtime • Optimize application performance, including rendering and memory management • Test and debug complex frontend applications • Build and maintain robust peer-to-peer connections and data replication systems • Contribute to the development of decentralized communication technology • Work collaboratively with a remote, globally distributed team

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience with React/Preact and modern JavaScript/TypeScript in production-scale applications • Strong competency in state management using Redux, Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or similar • Ability to write modular, maintainable, and well tested code • Solid skillset in testing and debugging complex frontend applications • Deep interest or experience with P2P technologies or distributed systems • Comfort working in a remote, globally distributed team • Good communication skills • Experience with desktop application development using Electron, Tauri, or similar runtimes preferred • Familiarity with video/audio APIs, WebRTC, media streams, and real-time communication preferred • Demonstrated ability to optimize UI performance, including rendering and memory management, preferred • Experience building cross-platform applications for macOS, Windows, Linux, or similar preferred • Past contributions to open-source software, especially in P2P or decentralized technology, are a bonus • Excellent English communication skills • Must complete application questions without using AI tools
