📋 Description
• Translate and proofread gaming content from Korean to Vietnamese for indie and AAA game localization projects • Ensure a high-quality gaming experience for Vietnamese players • Handle gaming terminology across Adventure, Strategy, and Fantasy genres • Follow instructions regarding tags and character limits • Complete translation, proofreading, and MTPE work according to project requirements • Meet deadlines in a fast-paced, creative environment • Complete a translation test and sign a confidentiality agreement as part of the application process
🎯 Requirements
• Native-level proficiency in Vietnamese • Strong command of Korean and English • Minimum 2 years of experience in gaming localization and Korean-to-Vietnamese proofreading • Expertise in Adventure, Strategy, and Fantasy games • Familiarity with gaming terminology • Ability to follow instructions on tags and character limits • Skilled in CAT tools • Excellent grammar, spelling, and terminology skills • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced, creative environment • Must sign a confidentiality agreement • Must complete a translation test • One of the following: a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies (or equivalent with significant translation training); 2+ years of translation experience plus a college degree; 5+ years of translation experience with no degree required; or a translation certification issued by an appropriate government body
