📋 Description

• Drive the evolution of backend technology, infrastructure, and AI capabilities to ensure high performance, scalability, and seamless integration for mobile applications • Work side by side with the CTO to build the foundations, present, and future of backend and AI systems • Develop and enhance backend systems for both existing and new applications in collaboration with mobile engineers • Contribute to system design, infrastructure planning, CI/CD processes, and data workflows • Implement and maintain scalable and reliable backend systems using languages such as Kotlin, Java, Go, Python, or similar • Design backend tools, databases, and application architecture • Work directly with cloud services such as AWS, Supabase, or Cloudflare • Build tools, libraries, or components that improve backend development efficiency

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years designing and building high-performance systems used at scale • Strong backend development experience with languages such as Kotlin, Java, Go, Python, or similar • Solid understanding of database design, management, and optimization • Proven experience building and maintaining scalable and reliable backend systems • Experience with AI is a strong plus, particularly applying models to real product use cases and optimizing them in production environments • Experience designing scalable and maintainable backend architectures and selecting the right architectural patterns when needed • Ability to monitor systems and architecture using tools such as New Relic or Datadog • Comfortable communicating in English and collaborating within a small team with ambitious goals
