📋 Description

• Prepare precise engineering calculations, load path layouts, and construction drawings for residential and commercial building projects • Perform structural calculations for gravity, lateral, foundation, and retaining systems • Design wood-frame assemblies including shear walls, joists, and beams • Design reinforced concrete elements including foundations, slabs, and columns • Develop detailed structural plans, sections, and framing details using AutoCAD and Revit • Coordinate designs with architects, engineers, and project leads to ensure constructability • Ensure compliance with IBC, ASCE 7, ACI 318, and NDS building codes

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering • 2 to 5+ years of structural design experience with a proven track record in wood and concrete • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis software such as Enercalc, RISA, WoodWorks, or RAM • EIT preferred; SE/PE track is a plus • Strong attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and clear communication skills • Professional attitude and ethical behavior • Solid written and verbal communication skills • Proactiveness • Multitasking skills • Analytical skills to solve complex issues • Organization skills and attention to detail • Ability to identify pain points, bottlenecks, scope creeps, and process improvement opportunities • Prioritization skills • Ability to follow orders or specific instructions when needed • Reliability and ability to follow tasks through to completion • Ability to comply with building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI 318, and NDS • Must be comfortable using Hubstaff time tracking software • Must have own computer with internet access • English voice note required • Work samples or portfolio in PDF format required
