📋 Description

• Perform day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping for the company and its subsidiaries • Code invoices, set up new accounts, reconcile accounts, and close monthly books • Process publisher and customer payments according to company guidelines • Create monthly publisher invoices and apply payments • Respond to payment inquiries from publishers and internal staff • Calculate quarterly commissions and bonuses for Sales and Account Managers • Assist with employee salary and contractor payment processing • Reconcile cash disbursement, payroll, customer, and other financial accounts • Manage accounts receivable collections • Assist with financial modeling and update internal financial models after month-end • Verify and complete accounts payable invoice payments and charge them to appropriate accounts • Assist the CEO and Director of Finance with ad hoc projects • Perform other related duties as assigned • Serve as an individual contributor

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required • CPA or CA preferred • 5–7 years of experience in finance/accounting roles, preferably in a global or multi-entity setup • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting • Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles • Proficient with QuickBooks Online and Campfire AI • Proficient in Google Office Suite or Microsoft Office products • Familiarity with Brex preferred but not required • Excellent Excel and financial modeling skills • Ability to work primarily between 9:30 AM and 6:30 PM ET • Player/coach mentality, willing to execute and lead • Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines • Skilled at receiving and providing direct feedback • Collaborative, entrepreneurial, adaptable, curious, research-minded, data-informed, proactive, and creative approach
