📋 Description

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple client accounts • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable • Perform bank, credit card and balance sheet reconciliations • Prepare journals and maintain accurate general ledger records • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities • Prepare and submit VAT returns • Maintain organised financial records and supporting documentation • Assist with financial reporting and management reports • Support audit preparation and compliance activities • Work with Xero, Dext, Hubdoc and Spotlight Reporting • Communicate professionally with clients and internal team members • Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies • Manage multiple clients while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines

🎯 Requirements

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in bookkeeping or accounting • Solid understanding of accounting principles • Experience using Xero or similar cloud accounting software • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy • Strong organisational and time management skills • Experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously • Excellent written and spoken English • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote team • Willingness to work 4:00 pm – 12:00 am Philippine time (Netherlands business hours) • Experience preparing VAT returns (highly desirable) • Exposure to financial reporting (highly desirable) • Audit experience (highly desirable) • Experience with Dext, Hubdoc and Spotlight Reporting (highly desirable) • Experience working with international clients (highly desirable)
