📋 Description

• Support student preparation before study abroad, including pre-arrival advising and insurance enrollment • Triage, evaluate, and assess pre-arrival health information; respond to routine inquiries and escalate cases to Managers • Support enrollment management for the Emergency Response communication system and health insurance services • Assist with case management for health, safety, and security incidents, including on-site participant requirements and compliance • Assist with crisis preparation and response, including emergency phone coverage and internal coordination • Monitor world news, U.S. and foreign governmental reports, and other resources for developments in program regions • Support collection, analysis, and dissemination of health and safety data and information • Understand, provide training on, and help ensure compliance with legal statutes including FERPA, HIPAA, ADA, Title IX, and the Clery Act • Liaise with external experts in security, mental health, emergency response, medical care, and insurance • Schedule and coordinate departmental training and global onboardings • Help bridge cultural differences between international and U.S. perspectives • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Proficient in written and spoken English; CEFR B2 or higher • Bachelor level degree or equivalent in international/cross-cultural communication, international studies, public health, health administration, higher education, student affairs, psychology, sociology, or related field • Ability to work independently, take initiative, problem solve, and self-organize • Skilled in working and communicating with individuals navigating medical/mental health issues in an educational setting • Strong intercultural communication skills • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse communities and stakeholders • Exceptional writing skills • Ability to present information concisely and effectively • Proficiency with information technology tools, including Microsoft Teams, Salesforce, Microsoft Office suite, and social media platforms • Legal authorization to work in Peru and physically reside in Peru • Availability to work flexibly across global teams and multiple time zones, including occasional early mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends during serious incidents or crises • Resume and cover letter submission required
