📋 Description

• Coordinate and manage the final quality of assigned translations • Run language assets, including translation memories, terminology, and style guides • Perform occasional initial translation, revision, and client feedback implementation • Perform quality checks on clinical translations, including ICFs, protocols, IBs, and patient diaries • Develop and maintain terminology and style guides for Spanish Latin American • Ensure Spanish Latin American translation memories are updated • Set and execute linguistic quality assurance processes for the assigned language globally as required • Use CAT technology to monitor the quality of outsourced language translations and external suppliers • Analyze language quality issues and work on quality improvement plans with the project management team

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in translation, linguistics or language studies with significant translation studies from a recognized higher education institution • OR bachelor's degree in another field and 2 years of translation experience, preferred in medical translation • Native language: Spanish – any Latin American variant • CAT/TMS tool experience required • Proven terminology and translation memory experience required • Proven multitasking, time management, organization, and attention to detail skills • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Proficiency in MS Office suite • Experience in medical device translation appreciated
