📋 Description

• Provide deep indirect tax and technology expertise throughout the sales cycle • Lead demonstrations of ONESOURCE Indirect Tax solutions and act as the regional subject matter expert for the DACH market • Represent ONESOURCE solutions to tax, finance, and IT teams up to Head of Tax, CFO, and CIO level • Own solution strategy for complex, multi-country, and strategic opportunities • Manage customer prospects, identify tax process issues, and support proposals and customer business cases • Lead solution demonstrations, discovery workshops, and proofs of value in German and English • Deliver virtual and onsite presentations across Europe • Apply expertise in indirect tax compliance, e-invoicing, digital reporting, business processes, and operations • Own the client experience throughout the sales cycle and delivery process • Lead RFP and tender responses, including German-language submissions • Represent Thomson Reuters at customer events, industry conferences, webinars, and through thought leadership • Partner with Sales leadership on territory and account planning • Serve as DACH and Europe product expert for ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Compliance and Determination • Produce and maintain demo data, demo environments, scripts, and product documentation • Prepare technical resources and deliver product and industry training to Sales teams • Work with Sales to achieve sales targets • Collaborate with Marketing on white papers, webinars, events, conferences, and DACH-specific campaigns • Work with Product Management on industry trends, field feedback, capability enhancements, and future development • Mentor and coach Solution Consultants across Europe • Contribute to Solution Consulting playbooks, demo assets, enablement materials, and ways of working

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience (typically 8+ years) in Indirect Tax / VAT • Proven experience with indirect tax technology, including tax determination engines and/or VAT compliance and reporting software • Knowledge of complex indirect tax supply chain transactions and VAT implications • Knowledge of Indirect AP and AR processes and typical filing obligations • Strong familiarity with SAP ECC / S/4HANA, Oracle, and/or other financial systems • Understanding of tax engine integration points and document flow requirements for POs and invoices in B2B and B2C • Ability to present to senior and C-level stakeholders and articulate value propositions • Strong negotiation, complex problem-solving, and conflict-management skills • Ability to work across multiple teams and in an agile environment • Ability to adapt to shifting circumstances and navigate dynamic environments • Strong collaboration, teamwork, and relationship-building skills • Resourceful, highly organised self-starter able to manage multiple priorities • Familiarity with AI tools and emerging technologies • Demonstrated ability to mentor and upskill others and lead through influence • A Bachelor’s degree and/or professional qualification in Accounting or Tax • Fluent German and English, written and spoken; German is essential • Significant experience (typically 8+ years) in indirect tax and/or indirect tax technology, including client-facing, consulting, or pre-sales exposure
