📋 Description

• Own the data science strategy and roadmap for Mexico and Brazil • Build and ship models alongside the team • Establish modelling standards, infrastructure, and delivery practices • Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of data scientists across two markets • Partner with credit leadership on modelling, impact measurement, valuation input, and P&L analysis • Bring structure and discipline to priorities, progress tracking, and delivery • Contribute methodologies for adoption across the wider Tilt data science organisation

🎯 Requirements

• Experience leading data scientists as a manager or technical lead • Strong applied machine learning and modelling skills • Sufficient understanding of credit and underwriting • Direct experience in lending, credit, or payments is a strong advantage • Experience in high-growth or small-company environments • Ability to connect data science to measurable business outcomes • Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly to non-technical stakeholders • Based in Brazil, Mexico, or the US • Fluent English required • Portuguese is an advantage • Spanish is welcome
