📋 Description

• Serve as the functional leader for Cashalo and partner day-to-day with the local GM • Lead an established 11–12 person backend and mobile engineering team • Own ambiguous, multi-stakeholder business problems through resolution • Run and interpret concurrent, interdependent experiments • Transfer proven engineering and product patterns from other Tilt markets into Cashalo • Balance established patterns with regional requirements • Advise the Cashalo GM • Travel to the Philippines approximately once per quarter

🎯 Requirements

• Deep, demonstrated experience building and leading high-performing engineering teams • Product-first orientation; comfortable operating where technology already works • Ability to address broad, multi-stakeholder problems, identify root causes, align groups, and drive solutions • Experience in startup/scrappy environments • Use of AI in day-to-day workflow, including building and using agents • Ability to hold robust technical discussions with Staff+ Engineers • Based in Australia, Singapore, or the Philippines • Willingness to travel 4–6 times per year • Willingness to travel to the Philippines roughly once a quarter
