📋 Description

• Engineer, deploy, and support the TNS Global IP backbone network • Deliver Ethernet-based services as defined by the Metro Ethernet Forum • Design and support routing protocols including BGP, ISIS, EIGRP, OSPF, and PIM • Design and support WAN/LAN topologies • Design and support MPLS networks • Design and support data centers • Design and support load balancers • Assess vendors and hardware and provide recommendations • Prepare equipment and design specifications for budgetary planning • Identify issues and recommend appropriate resolutions • Provide direction for entire projects or project teams • Consult on other projects and solve highly technical, complex problems • Provide guidance to team members and transfer technical skills and knowledge

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of design and operations experience in large scale multiprotocol global IP/ISP networks • 5+ years of experience and expertise in TCP/IP and routing protocols including RSVP, LDP, BGP, ISIS, OSPF, PIM, BFD, and Fast Reroute technologies • 3+ years of experience with architecture and provisioning of MPLS networks and services, including Traffic Engineering, Carrier Ethernet, MPLS L2 and L3 VPNs, VPLS, Circuit Emulation, IPSec, VPNs, IP Multicast, and QoS/CoS • 5+ years of experience in Layer 2 Ethernet technologies • 3+ years of working knowledge of Data Center design and operation • Expertise in current industry WAN technologies/products, including SONET, SDH, TDM, and Metro Ethernet • 5+ years of extensive hands-on experience configuring, debugging, and resolving problems in complex Cisco and/or Juniper-based networks • Experience with command-line interfaces • Skill in using network monitoring and analysis tools such as SolarWinds and Splunk • B.S. (or equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering • Certified in applicable Cisco and Juniper technologies
