📋 Description

• Design, build, and deploy scalable ETL/ELT pipelines from operational systems, REST APIs, databases, and flat files into cloud environments • Establish and maintain Data Lake/Lakehouse Bronze, Silver, and Gold storage layers • Develop and execute automated Python, PySpark, and SQL scripts for schema validation, data quality enforcement, and inconsistency resolution • Stage and structure target data repositories for query performance, data modeling, and Microsoft Power BI integration • Use Microsoft Fabric, Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Lake Storage to orchestrate workflows and monitor data pipelines • Collaborate with Solution Architects, Project Managers, and BI Analysts to align deliverables with client reporting and business logic requirements • Support client proposals and enterprise project execution

🎯 Requirements

• Strong written and spoken English required • Hands-on experience building, scheduling, and monitoring automated ETL/ELT pipelines • Experience implementing Data Lake and Medallion Architecture patterns, including Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers • Strong proficiency in Python or PySpark and advanced SQL for data manipulation, extraction, and script execution • Solid experience within the Microsoft Cloud and Azure data ecosystem • Experience with data quality validation, error handling, and loading data into target locations for downstream consumption • Familiarity with data modeling requirements for Microsoft Power BI reporting • Availability for a part-time, hourly engagement • Nice to have: hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Factory, and Synapse Data Engineering • Nice to have: Microsoft certifications such as DP-700, DP-203, or AZ-104 • Nice to have: experience in Agile environments with client-facing deliverables and Statement of Work milestones
