📋 Description

• Lead and coordinate all IT projects and programs across Infrastructure, Cloud & AI Platforms, Security, and Application Management • Build and maintain a transparent IT project portfolio • Prioritize projects, dependencies, and resource conflicts in coordination with the Heads of the respective areas • Lead cross-functional initiatives such as new cloud services, international expansion, AI rollouts, and site launches • Provide regular portfolio updates to the VP, including status, risks, and decisions required in a red/amber/green format • Manage IT Project Managers in a matrix structure by defining priorities, quality standards, and work packages • Coordinate project planning and ensure alignment with the overall plan • Act as a sparring partner and support the methodological development of Project Managers • Establish and operate a binding project intake and demand management process • Assess incoming requests and distinguish operational activities from projects • Identify and resolve cross-functional dependencies • Escalate blockers or resource constraints to the VP at an early stage • Ensure consistent portfolio management processes for all IT projects • Ensure smooth handovers of project deliverables into operations • Establish consistent project standards, templates, status reports, and milestones

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of experience managing IT project portfolios in technically complex environments • Demonstrated experience coordinating cross-functional IT projects—not just individual projects • Understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud and AI platforms, application management, and security at a level that enables effective professional discussions with the Heads of the respective areas • Experience with project portfolio management, including prioritization, dependency analysis, and resource planning • Pragmatic methodological expertise in agile and traditional approaches • Ability to deliver results through matrix leadership without direct disciplinary authority • Strong communication skills at technical, strategic, and executive levels • Structured working style and strong conflict-resolution skills • Ability to work independently while building a new function • Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders at different organizational levels • Very good German skills and good English skills
