📋 Description

• Translate and proofread documents for clients in the Insurance and Legal sectors • Create and finalize translated end products before delivery to the client • Work under the guidance of a manager • Collaborate with Project Managers • Translate from English into Simplified Chinese (Singapore) • Apply subject matter expertise to translation projects

🎯 Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Simplified Chinese (Singapore) • Specialization in Legal and/or Insurance translation • Acute attention to detail, spelling, and grammar • Ability to maintain professionalism under tight deadlines • Asian time zone preferred • Must sign a confidentiality agreement • Must complete Translation and Proofreading tests • Must undergo a background check • Must provide a latest CV including relevant Translation and Proofreading experience • Must provide proposed Translation per-word rate and Proofreading hourly rate in USD • One of the following: a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies or an equivalent degree with significant translation training; 2 years of translation experience and a college degree; 5 years of translation experience and no college degree; or a certificate of competence in translation awarded by an appropriate government body
