📋 Description

• Translate and proofread documents for clients in the Insurance and Legal sectors • Create and finalize translated end products before delivery to clients • Work under the guidance of a manager • Collaborate with Project Managers • Apply English-to-Simplified-Chinese (Singapore) language expertise and subject-matter knowledge • Support the translation needs of international clients

🎯 Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Simplified Chinese (Singapore) • Specialized in Legal and/or Insurance translation • Acute attention to detail, spelling and grammar • Ability to maintain professionalism under tight deadlines • Asian time zone preferred • Applicants must sign a confidentiality agreement • Applicants must complete free Translation and Proofreading tests • Applicants must complete a background check • A degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies, or an equivalent degree including significant translation training, from a recognized higher-education institution; OR • 2 years of translation experience and a college degree; OR • 5 years of translation experience and no college degree; OR • A certificate of competence in translation awarded by an appropriate government body • Latest CV must include relevant Translation and Proofreading experience and proposed translation per-word and proofreading hourly rates in USD
