📋 Description

• Work on contracts, agreements, and other legal-related files • Perform full post-editing (MTPE) and/or proofreading • Join TransPerfect’s international brand team • Build participation in TransPerfect’s long-term freelancer pool • Complete onboarding and service-specific tests • Provide separate per-word rates for MTPE and proofreading • Support future contract/legal-related localization projects

🎯 Requirements

• Native Portuguese (Brazil) speaker • Relevant experience in legal localization projects • Language pair: Simplified Chinese into Portuguese (Brazil) • Experience providing full post-editing (MTPE) and/or proofreading • Either 2+ years of professional experience and a language-related degree, or 5+ years of professional experience with no degree required • Must complete a contract-related test • Must complete an MTPE test • Must complete a free subject-specific test and service-specific tests • Ability to provide separate MTPE and proofreading rates in USD • Relevant experience details required, including years of experience, approximate total word counts, end clients, subjects, and document types • Portuguese (Brazil) and Simplified Chinese language proficiency • Legal-related document localization experience requested
