📋 Description

• Perform full-cycle game localization and translation for a flagship mobile gaming account • Localize in-game UI, storylines, character dialogue, and marketing copy • Perform linguistic LQA • Polish narratives and adapt content cross-culturally • Participate in creative brainstorming with game teams • Complete information verification, NDA signing, qualification sample test, and onboarding • Work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during core business hours

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on game localization experience • Native or near-native English speaker • Simplified Chinese to English language pair • Minimum one of: a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies (or equivalent with significant translation training); 2+ years of translation experience plus a college degree; 5+ years of translation experience with no degree required; or a translation certification issued by an appropriate government body • Ability to work core business hours • Availability for 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday • Willingness to sign a confidentiality agreement • Ability to complete a short unpaid qualification assessment test • Gaming translation and localization experience, including gaming genres, partial client lists, and estimated word count • Latest CV required
