📋 Description

• Partner with data engineers on global technical development, deployment, and maintenance of the Fraud Detection & Monitoring Program • Use applicable data programming languages and visualization tools • Collaborate with business and process owners to assess risks, analyze data, and propose hypotheses for fraud detection and monitoring rules • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and behaviors indicative of fraud, abuse/misuse, or violations • Design and develop dashboards that alert on predefined rules and logic • Collaborate with global stakeholders to determine needs and lead implementation of reporting solutions • Implement temporary workarounds for process breakdowns • Work with Global Technology and Data Architecture teams to provide technical design recommendations for data mart structures • Create user process documentation, FAQs, presentations, and project plans • Understand TransUnion products and services and partner with process owners to prioritize and deliver technical requirements targeting fraud and misuse activities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent experience in related roles • Minimum 2 years experience working with relational databases using SQL, Hive, Spark, Python or other data query and scripting languages • Knowledge of statistical analysis, regression modelling and forecasting, data mining, financial analysis, and demand modelling, using statistical softwares • Experience in fraud detection, fraud analytics, financial crime, payments risk, identity risk, account takeover prevention, chargeback mitigation, or related domains • Demonstrated expertise in performing data engineering work within Google Cloud ecosystem (GCP) • Experience designing and developing dashboards in visualization tools • Experience with large-scale datasets, analyzing data to solve business problems, and presenting impactful insights • Proven strong relationship-building and communication skills with team members, business users and cross-functional stakeholder • Complete understanding of the business intelligence development life cycle • Ability to lead collaboration discussions to gather needs for desired outcomes for BI solutions • Strong communication skills and willingness to take initiative and contribute to business goals and objectives
