📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain cloud-based enterprise applications and shared platform capabilities • Participate throughout the software development lifecycle from requirements analysis through production support • Translate business requirements and data models into scalable, secure, resilient, and high-performing solutions • Develop maintainable, documented, and thoroughly tested code • Design and develop shared services, frameworks, APIs, and infrastructure components • Provide technical leadership through code reviews, design reviews, mentoring, pair programming, and software engineering best practices • Troubleshoot complex issues and support incident response, root cause analysis, and reliability improvements • Partner with architects, product teams, platform engineers, operations teams, and other stakeholders • Improve scalability, performance, reliability, observability, availability, disaster recovery, and operational excellence • Participate in roadmap discussions, deployment and release activities, and an on-call rotation

🎯 Requirements

• Five or more years of professional software development experience in enterprise environments • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related STEM field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered in place of a degree • Experience across the software development lifecycle • Ability to independently analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues • Ability to mentor engineers and conduct effective code and design reviews • Advanced English proficiency, including speaking, reading, and writing • Proficiency in Java and experience developing enterprise applications • Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and RESTful APIs • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), cloud-native services, and cloud-native architectures • Experience using Git and modern version-control practices • Experience with relational databases and SQL • Preferred: experience with Scala, JavaScript, Python, Bash, NoSQL databases, or modern web application and user-interface development • Preferred: experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, automated testing, and configuration management • Preferred: experience with distributed systems, cloud-native microservices, or Hadoop, Spark, or MapReduce • Preferred: knowledge of SRE, observability, monitoring, logging, distributed tracing, high availability, and disaster recovery • Preferred: experience with Kubernetes, containerization, cloud infrastructure automation, or relevant Google Cloud professional certifications
