📋 Description

• Independently assess and improve the company's operations, financial activities, and compliance with regulations and policies • Develop and implement audit plans • Conduct risk assessments • Assess the effectiveness of internal controls • Review processes for compliance • Ensure regulatory compliance with MFSA, VISA, Mastercard, and other applicable rules • Identify and mitigate risks • Prepare and present audit findings and recommendations • Monitor implementation of audit recommendations • Stay updated with industry trends • Propose process improvements • Train staff • Work with departments to improve processes • Liaise with internal and external parties as required

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • Certifications such as CIA, CPA • 3-5 years of internal auditing experience, preferably in financial services • Knowledge of MFSA and industry-related regulations • Knowledge of VISA and Mastercard rules is a plus • Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills • High ethical standards and integrity • Experience with audit software and data analytics • Discretion in handling confidential information • Attention to detail and accuracy
