📋 Description

• Set quality standards, give actionable feedback grounded in performance results, and handle high-priority edits when needed • Evaluate editors, identify capability gaps, make staffing decisions, and build and develop the team • Review footage, curate selects, maintain organized libraries, and repurpose content • Partner with Production on footage quality, flagging issues early and providing actionable, consumer-minded feedback • Share performance insights and strengthen knowledge-sharing between editorial and Strategy • Represent editorial in cross-functional discussions and balance creative ambition with production realities • Make decisions on scope, timelines, and team assignments • Streamline workflows, explore new tools and AI capabilities, and solve recurring challenges

🎯 Requirements

• Strong visual judgment and a clear understanding of what makes an edit work • Ability to give clear, actionable feedback that editors can apply quickly • Strong understanding of how creative decisions connect to performance • Ability to guide and develop editors, holding the team accountable while building a strong roster • Sound business judgment — able to see the bigger picture across creative and team needs, and act decisively in a fast-paced, high-output environment • Willingness to stay hands-on when the work needs senior-level attention • 7+ years of professional video editing experience • 3+ year in a managerial or leadership role • Expert-level proficiency in Premiere Pro and Adobe Creative Suite • Strong knowledge of After Effects and motion graphics • Experience in performance marketing, a creative agency, or an in-house creative team
