📋 Description

• Execute SAP S/4HANA readiness checks, CVI, and SDM/SDNI processes • Perform custom code adaptation and compatibility validation • Apply ECC-to-S/4HANA architectural and in-memory computing knowledge • Work with RISE with SAP architectural models, ECS operational procedures, and Cloud Managed Services governance • Execute DMO with SUM for migrations and conversions to HANA and Cloud • Perform OS/DB heterogeneous migrations, system copies, and landscape refreshes • Execute end-to-end kernel upgrades and distribute files across instances • Manage patching, hotfixes, permissions, ownership, and sticky-bit configuration • Work across the full SUM lifecycle, including downtime and shadow instances • Perform SPDD and SPAU adjustments • Troubleshoot incomplete transports, open updates, phase failures, and upgrade issues • Optimize downtime during migration cycles • Install and maintain SAP add-ons through SPAM • Handle PBS and TOC transport-management activities • Analyze work processes using SM50, SM66, dpmon, and operating-system tools • Conduct trace and debug activities at work-process level • Perform lock analysis using SM12 and troubleshoot performance issues • Manage system recovery involving open updates and downtime • Administer ABAP and Java stacks, dual-stack dependencies, startup order, schema users, and UME • Manage database connectivity using R3trans, DBACOCKPIT, and HANA Studio • Troubleshoot system startup and database issues • Develop and maintain Shell and Python automation scripts • Build repeatable processes to reduce manual intervention • Act as the final L3 escalation point for complex incidents • Perform root cause analysis and system recovery

🎯 Requirements

• Start Date: Immediate • Strong practical, hands-on expertise in SAP migrations to S/4HANA and upgrades • Up to 12 years of SAP Basis experience or an equivalent career level • Advanced or fluent English for global communication and incident resolution • Fully hands-on profile focused on the technical execution of migrations • Practical experience with SAP S/4HANA migrations and upgrades • Experience with readiness checks, CVI, SDM/SDNI, custom code adaptation, and compatibility validation • Knowledge of ECC and S/4HANA architectural differences and in-memory computing • Experience with RISE with SAP architectural models, ECS operational procedures, and Cloud Managed Services governance • Experience with DMO with SUM, HANA and Cloud migrations, OS/DB heterogeneous migrations, system copies, and landscape refreshes • Experience with kernel upgrades, patching, hotfixes, and kernel file administration • Experience across the full SUM lifecycle, including SPDD and SPAU adjustments and troubleshooting upgrade issues • Experience installing and maintaining SAP add-ons through SPAM • Knowledge of PBS and TOC transport management • Experience with SAP system administration, work process analysis, trace/debug activities, lock analysis, system recovery, and performance troubleshooting • Experience with ABAP and Java stacks, dual-stack dependencies, UME, R3trans, DBACOCKPIT, and HANA Studio • Ability to develop and maintain Shell and Python automation scripts • Experience handling complex L3 incidents, root cause analysis, and system recovery • Résumé must clearly highlight practical, hands-on evidence of the required technical knowledge • Résumé must not have already been presented for this opportunity • Fluent English is mandatory
