📋 Description

• Write high-quality content answering prospects’ and customers’ questions for search engines and AI assistants • Turn cybersecurity and risk concepts into accurate, insightful, readable content • Refresh and improve existing articles and pages • Write and maintain comparison and competitor pages • Publish and format content in the CMS, including headings, metadata, internal links, and image alt text • Review content performance with the Growth Marketing team and use insights to improve future content • Ensure all content follows UpGuard’s brand Voice and Tone • Report to the Content Writer Manager as part of the Growth Squad

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of professional content writing experience, including search-optimized content, ideally in B2B SaaS or Cybersecurity • Portfolio of long-form articles, comparison pages, or other search-focused content • Solid understanding of SEO, including search intent, keyword usage, content structure, internal linking, metadata, and AI search • Hands-on experience uploading and formatting content in a website CMS • Ability to translate complex technical or risk management concepts into clear, engaging, authoritative content • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Ability to manage multiple content pieces in a fast-paced environment with independence • Ability to collaborate effectively with web, growth, and creative teams • Fluency in English, verbal and written • Based in South Africa • Experience with content driving measurable traffic and leads is an advantage • Background in cybersecurity, vendor risk, or third-party risk management is an advantage • Confidence using AI tools and refining AI-generated drafts is an advantage • Must undertake a national police history check and reference checks • Must be legally authorised to work in South Africa without company visa sponsorship
