📋 Description

• Own the full employee lifecycle from offer through offboarding for a globally distributed team • Manage full-cycle recruiting across open roles • Partner with hiring managers to define needs, run structured processes, and close candidates • Manage global EOR relationships, including Remote.com or similar platforms • Ensure compliant and equitable onboarding across multiple countries • Design, write, and maintain the employee handbook, offer templates, employment contracts, and core people policies • Build and own compensation structures, pay banding, salary zone management, and compensation frameworks • Design and run performance review cycles, goal-setting frameworks, and promotion processes • Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, manager coaching, investigations, and exits • Ensure employment law compliance across hiring jurisdictions • Build and manage the HRIS, ATS, and people technology stack • Partner with management on organizational design, headcount planning, and culture • Create onboarding experiences for new team members

🎯 Requirements

• Experienced people ops generalist who has built or significantly grown an HR function, ideally as the first or sole HR person at a startup • Deeply comfortable with recruiting, compliance, employee relations, culture, and compensation • Experienced managing global employment through EOR platforms and navigating multi-jurisdictional compliance across Europe and beyond • Able to write clear and defensible policies with employees in mind • Comfortable working independently without a team or fully built playbook • Legal right to work in the candidate’s stated location • Visa sponsorship is not currently offered
