📋 Description

• Deliver solution designs and architectures for key initiatives hosted primarily on cloud-based government platforms • Evaluate architecture holistically and recommend or implement solutions, working practices, and technologies aligned with business requirements • Build relationships across the business and EY Technology to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions • Create solution plans with cost estimates and optimized delivery approaches • Provide technical leadership and subject-matter expertise for complex Azure/Azure Gov products and reusable assets • Develop high-level technical overviews to support business investment decisions • Create detailed infrastructure and engineering designs covering end-to-end technical solutions • Apply technical strategies, policies, standards, and practices across technology programs, projects, and products • Assess vendor products and assist with implementing vendor delivery models • Set architectural direction across multiple projects, build consensus, mediate conflicts, and advise stakeholders • Guide teams in resolving complex solution architecture issues and escalated project matters • Monitor project progress and quality, and verify solutions comply with architectural designs • Partner with Product, Engineering, Security, Infrastructure, and Delivery teams • Design secure, scalable, resilient cloud-native applications using Azure services and modern architecture patterns • Establish technical standards, conduct architecture reviews, and guide engineering teams on design compliance • Evaluate AI use cases and integrate secure AI capabilities into enterprise solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced understanding of Azure/Azure Gov architecture, including gateways, firewalls, containers, and Azure DevOps • Experience architecting and designing Microsoft-centric technical solutions using Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS capabilities • Experience with claims-based authentication such as SAML, OAuth, OIDC, MFA, JIT, RBAC, or Ping • Experience with configuration management and automation tools such as Azure DevOps, Ansible, Puppet, Octopus, Chef, or Salt • Experience with multi-geography, multi-tier service design and management • Experience with data movement and transformation technologies • Knowledge of cloud security controls, including tenant isolation, encryption, key management, vulnerability assessments, application firewalls, and SIEM • Deep understanding of application, infrastructure, and security architecture, including performance, scalability, reliability, and availability • Experience defining, designing, and developing distributed and scalable products and services, including microservices on hybrid or multi-platform clouds • Experience with Agile and DevSecOps methodologies • Excellent project management, collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills • Conceptual and analytical skills to extract, analyze, and document complex business and technical requirements • Must be able to obtain and maintain Top Secret Security clearance • Ideally, knowledge of US Government and Public Sector standards including DFARS, NIST 800-171, NIST 800-53, CMMC L3, and Cloud Computing SRG • Ideally, experience with Azure Government cloud platforms • Ideally, experience with programming or scripting languages such as JavaScript, PowerShell, Bash, SQL, .NET, Java, Python, PHP, Ruby, Perl, or C++ • Ideally, experience with relational, graph, or unstructured data technologies • Ideally, knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, Azure Stream Analytics, SQL Analytics, or Data Lake Analytics • Demonstrated experience designing, architecting, and implementing cloud-native applications on Azure/Azure Gov • Hands-on expertise with Azure App Services, Azure Functions, API Management, AKS, Logic Apps, and integration services • Ability to translate business and functional requirements into end-to-end application architectures • Strong understanding of performance optimization, resiliency, disaster recovery, and application lifecycle management in Azure • Experience implementing secure application designs aligned with Zero Trust principles, identity integration, managed identities, RBAC, Key Vault, secret management, and US Gov Cloud security frameworks • Proven ability to guide engineering teams, enforce architectural standards, and ensure DevSecOps adoption in CI/CD pipelines • Familiarity with .NET, Java, Python, or Node.js • Advanced English required • Self-starter who can take initiative and solve problems critically and creatively • Comfortable working with culturally diverse outsourced onshore/offshore team members and outside normal local working hours when needed • Some domestic and international travel may be required
