📋 Description

• Establish and promote quality engineering best practices across the engineering organization • Define quality standards, testing strategies, and automation frameworks across product teams • Drive shift-left testing throughout the software development lifecycle • Participate in architecture, design, and requirements reviews to identify quality risks early • Mentor QA engineers and developers on testing and quality engineering practices • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites • Implement functional, API, UI, integration, regression, performance, and security testing • Integrate automated testing and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines • Analyze test failures and drive root-cause resolution • Validate complex enterprise application workflows and functionality • Develop test plans, test cases, and test scenarios • Perform exploratory, system, integration, and end-to-end testing • Test cloud-native applications running in Microsoft Azure for reliability, scalability, resiliency, and fault tolerance • Verify integrations across distributed systems, APIs, messaging platforms, and databases • Participate in release validation and production-readiness assessments • Test AI-powered capabilities, including chatbots, assistants, agents, RAG solutions, and intelligent search • Evaluate AI output quality, consistency, accuracy, and reliability • Support Responsible AI practices and establish AI evaluation methodologies • Support infrastructure validation, deployment testing, and DevSecOps initiatives • Monitor quality metrics and test coverage • Contribute to continuous delivery initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will be considered • 7+ years of software quality assurance experience • 5+ years of hands-on automated testing experience • Experience supporting enterprise-scale software products • Experience working in Agile and Scrum delivery environments • Experience collaborating directly with development teams throughout the SDLC • Expertise in one or more of Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or Puppeteer • Experience with test automation architecture, automated regression testing, CI/CD-based test execution, automated reporting, and dashboards • Experience with REST APIs, Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, automated API validation, contract testing, and integration testing • Hands-on experience with C#, .NET, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and PowerShell • Ability to develop maintainable automation frameworks and supporting utilities • Experience with load testing tools, performance test design, API performance validation, security testing fundamentals, and vulnerability assessment processes • Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure services including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, AKS, Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Storage, Azure API Management, Azure DevOps, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Azure Entra ID • Experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions, automated build and deployment pipelines, test execution within CI/CD workflows, quality gates, and release validation • Working knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, AI-assisted software development, AI quality evaluation, AI agents, RAG, Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Search, and Responsible AI principles • Understanding of testing challenges involving probabilistic systems, hallucinations, grounding, and AI governance • Quality-first mindset, analytical and problem-solving skills, technical leadership and mentoring, attention to detail, risk assessment, continuous improvement, collaboration, communication, and customer-focused thinking • Preferred: ISTQB Advanced Certification, CSTE, Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204), AI-enabled business application testing, distributed microservices, containers/Kubernetes, and cloud-native quality engineering
