📋 Description

• Review the work of Accounting Coordinators across day-to-day internal accounting functions, providing coaching and feedback • Review the month-end close for accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery • Review US payroll and Philippines payroll processing • Review accounts payable, ensuring transactions are properly recorded, approved, and paid • Prepare, review, and deliver internal financial reports to firm leadership • Maintain firm accounting records and general ledger integrity • Analyze results, trends, and opportunities for leadership • Own special accounting projects and higher-complexity work • Identify, scope, and implement improvements to accounting processes and systems • Support system implementations and migrations and build repeatable, well-documented workflows • Perform other related duties or projects assigned by management

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field of study • Progressive professional accounting experience, including experience reviewing others’ work (close, payroll, and/or AP) • Strong command of month-end close, payroll, accounts payable, and financial reporting • Advanced Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, complex formulas) • Self-directed and hands-on, able to work with minimal supervision and manage multiple competing priorities • Excellent communication and writing skills, with acute attention to detail • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) • Preferred: Experience leading or supporting system improvements & implementations • Preferred: Experience with Ramp, Rillet, QuickBooks or Bill.com • Preferred: Experience with using Asana for project management • Preferred: Prior experience reviewing payroll across multiple entities or geographies (Philippines a plus, but not required)
