• Representing the front-end of Vencora's acquisition activities • Establishing contacts and nurturing relationships with CEOs and owners of global companies • Creatively identifying leads for vertical market software businesses • Maintaining and building a proprietary database of industry contacts • Developing and conducting prospecting campaigns through various media • Consistently making direct outreach to business owners and executives • Gathering target company information and qualifying opportunities for potential acquisition • Presenting high-potential opportunities to the internal M&A team • Traveling to attend tradeshows, prospecting trips, and in-person meetings as needed
• 4+ years of experience in a business development, lead generation, or outbound sales role, ideally in a B2B or M&A environment • Excellent academic performance in an undergraduate business degree • Fluency in English • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written • Demonstrated success with cold calling and outbound prospecting • Ability to manage a pipeline of leads and consistently exceed outreach and engagement targets • Confident in presenting to business owners and executive-level stakeholders • Strong analytical skills and sound business judgment • Experience in M&A, software, or fintech is considered an asset • Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus • Professional demeanor, excellent time management, and a persistent, independent work ethic • Collaborative spirit with the ability to work across remote teams and cultural backgrounds • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%
