📋 Description

• Drive acquisition activities of sourcing and nurturing target companies • Creatively identify leads for vertical market software businesses • Maintain and build a proprietary database of industry contacts • Develop and conduct prospecting campaigns through various means • Consistently make direct outreach to business owners and executives • Demonstrate creativity, persistence, and credibility in interactions • Gather target company information and qualify opportunities for acquisition • Present high-potential opportunities to the internal M&A team • Travel to attend tradeshows, prospecting trips, and in-person meetings as needed (up to 20%)

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a business development, lead generation, or outbound sales role, ideally in a B2B or M&A environment • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong business instincts, and a proactive mindset • Fluency in English • Excellent academic performance in an undergraduate business degree • A master’s degree from a top-tier school is a plus • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written • Demonstrated success with cold calling and outbound prospecting • Ability to manage a pipeline of leads and consistently exceed outreach and engagement targets • Confident in presenting to business owners and executive-level stakeholders • Strong analytical skills and sound business judgment • Experience in M&A, software, or fintech is considered an asset • Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus • Professional demeanor, excellent time management, and a persistent, independent work ethic • Collaborative spirit with the ability to work across remote teams and cultural backgrounds • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%
