📋 Description

• Bill Medicare, Medicaid, and other insurance carriers • Research and correct rejected claims and post payments • Resubmit claims with supporting documentation as needed • Post payments or rejections received • Call payers and use payer websites to status or reprocess claims and secure payment • Update accounts receivable with new accounts or missed payments • Keep clients informed about outstanding balances and debts • Learn billing, documentation, and prior authorization requirements for new product categories • Turn newly learned requirements into repeatable billing processes • Work as part of the Revenue Cycle Management team to support at-home medical equipment claims and payment

🎯 Requirements

• Great communication, written and verbal, in English • Detail-oriented and accurate when working through a queue of claims, denials, or payments • Energetic and organized • Comfortable with learning new things quickly • Coachable and curious; takes feedback well, asks good questions, and applies learning • Some experience in US medical billing, claims, or revenue cycle is helpful • Familiarity with prior authorizations and medical necessity documentation for DME is a bonus • Experience billing diabetes equipment, respiratory equipment, mobility equipment, or Orthotics & Prosthetics is a bonus • Proficiency or familiarity with Verse’s internal order and billing platform, clearinghouse tools, Availity, DME MAC portals, health plan provider portals, Metabase, Google Sheets, Slack, and Google Workspace • Must be based in Manila, Philippines
