📋 Description

• Manage the daily operations of the Project Coordinating and Field Technician Departments • Lead and supervise department employees, including managing schedules, assigning responsibilities, delegating tasks, and monitoring performance • Coordinate and prioritize field projects to ensure work is scheduled and completed on time • Serve as a liaison between project coordinators, field technicians, clients, laboratories, and internal departments • Oversee client communication, including project updates, clearance results, technical questions, pricing, proposals, and service-related concerns • Review and interpret laboratory results and technical findings and communicate relevant information accurately • Oversee the preparation, review, and approval of reports, reporting tables, invoices, emails, and other client deliverables • Coordinate with laboratories regarding sample analysis, results, turnaround times, and project timeline issues • Cross-train team members and develop workflows that maintain operational coverage and efficiency • Conduct department meetings, monitor project progress, identify bottlenecks, and address issues affecting deadlines or client satisfaction • Train, mentor, and provide feedback to team members while maintaining quality and productivity standards • Resolve complex operational and client issues efficiently • Maintain strong client relationships and support customer satisfaction • Support the Operations Director with department planning, resource allocation, and process improvements • Support business development by identifying opportunities to sell company services • Work outside normal business hours, including occasional Saturdays, when necessary to meet operational deadlines

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year university • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the environmental industry or a related field • Previous experience supervising employees and managing departmental operations, schedules, and workloads • Strong project coordination and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities • Strong leadership, delegation, and decision-making skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and client-service-oriented approach • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, field technicians, laboratories, homeowners, and internal teams • Working knowledge of environmental testing, laboratory analysis, and related technical concepts • Experience reviewing and interpreting laboratory results, technical reports, and other project documentation • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing reports, invoices, emails, and client deliverables • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Ability to learn company databases, project management systems, and other software applications • Ability to work effectively under pressure, solve problems quickly, and adapt to changing priorities • Experience training, mentoring, and developing team members • English proficiency at B2 level or above • High level of professionalism, honesty, and integrity • Proactive approach to identifying and removing roadblocks for clients and internal teams • Proven remote work experience with a dedicated home office setup, reliable computer, quality headset, and stable internet connection • Willingness to work a Monday-Saturday operational schedule as needed, including occasional work outside regular business hours • Preferred: Experience in environmental consulting, environmental testing, industrial hygiene, or a related technical services industry • Preferred: Certifications in Asbestos, Lead, or Industrial Hygiene, such as CAC, LI-RA, or CMI • Preferred: Previous laboratory experience
