📋 Description

• Conduct site visits to contract manufacturing organization facilities to observe production and testing of company products and review compliance • Support operations of contract suppliers, including technical issues, quotations, vendor selection and evaluation, schedule conflicts, and quality issues • Monitor quality, compliance, and regulatory aspects between the company and third-party footwear manufacturers • Manage relationships and act as liaison between the company and contractors • Provide contractors with information to ensure quality standards are met • Ensure products follow good manufacturing practices and meet quality requirements • Identify potential new contractors and evaluate suppliers’ financial stability • Coordinate development of contractor manual documentation • Respond to cost and feasibility requests and obtain vendor quotations • Determine courses of action based on guidelines and modify processes and methods as required • Analyze and investigate varied, related problems under general guidance • Communicate complex information and obtain cooperation or approval from relevant audiences • Plan own work, assess progress, and adjust efforts to meet goals • Help coordinate the work of junior team members

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field, or equivalent years of experience in a substantially similar industry may be considered in lieu of a degree • Three to five years of related experience preferred • Strong written and oral communication skills • Knowledge of principles and practices in a recognized professional field requiring extensive academic preparation • Knowledge of company policies, practices, and procedures
