📋 Description

• Provide frontline technical support for customer build, release, and CI/CD systems • Manage Slack threads and tickets, approximately 50/50 • Triage build failures, broken pipelines, dependency issues, and configuration errors • Diagnose complex build, packaging, artifact, and deployment-orchestration problems • Investigate Maven builds, Java compilation, Docker images, Artifactory repositories, Jenkins jobs, and Spinnaker pipelines • Provide structured guidance during incidents • Analyze issues thoroughly before escalation • Gather logs, reproduction steps, build metadata, and context for escalation tickets • Maintain and refine FAQs and internal documentation • Create problem-solution one-pagers for recurring issues • Document newly solved problems • Handle multiple developer inquiries and tickets in parallel • Participate in weekly team meetings reviewing escalated tickets • Support developers across global engineering teams and help maintain developer velocity

🎯 Requirements

• 2–5 years in Build/Release Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or software development • Git proficiency and GitHub expertise • CI/CD tooling expertise, including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI • Build and Release engineering fundamentals • Maven and Java build tooling • Understanding of the software supply chain lifecycle • Experience supporting artifact repositories such as Artifactory or Nexus • Experience with Spinnaker or similar deployment orchestration • Strong troubleshooting ability • Clear written and spoken communication • SDLC understanding • Unix and Linux command-line proficiency • Scripting with Python or Bash • Container knowledge, including Docker or Kubernetes • Experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle, containers, and artifact management systems • Nice-to-have: monitoring tools such as Prometheus/Grafana • Nice-to-have: prior SRE experience • No CI/CD experience or poor communication are disqualifiers
