📋 Description

• Drive end-to-end execution and ownership of GRC deliverables, timelines, dependencies, and compliance milestones • Lead third-party audits such as SOC 2 Type II and PCI DSS from scoping through completion • Manage evidence collection, guide control owners, and lead remediation efforts • Maintain and mature compliance frameworks for evolving global requirements including GDPR • Conduct IT, security, and third-party risk assessments • Maintain the risk register and track risk treatment plans and corrective actions through closure • Optimize GRC operations using GRC platforms and automation tools • Partner with Engineering and Product teams to embed security controls, privacy-by-design, and cloud best practices into the development lifecycle and API-first platform • Support enterprise sales through security questionnaires, third-party risk reviews, and compliance demonstrations • Translate technical and regulatory findings into risk dashboards, KRIs, and leadership updates

🎯 Requirements

• Proven track record of driving cross-functional projects, aligning technical and business stakeholders, and holding teams accountable • Hands-on experience leading major compliance audits such as SOC 2, PCI DSS, or ISO 27001 from start to finish • Prior experience in SaaS, Fintech, or cloud-native technology environments highly preferred • Strong curiosity and fast-learning mindset toward modern cloud, API, and SaaS architectures required for candidates from other sectors • Demonstrated GRC and security process experience, including risk assessments, internal audits, policy development, and corrective action management • Solid working knowledge of SOC 2, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, GDPR, and NIST CSF/RMF • Ability to translate regulatory requirements into clear operational steps • Effective communication with technical experts and business executives • Business fluency in English required • Basic technical familiarity with scripting, APIs, or system logs/configurations is a plus • Exposure to GRC automation tools such as Vanta, Drata, ServiceNow IRM, or LogicGate is a plus • Relevant certifications such as CRISC, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CSSP, or ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor are a plus • German language proficiency is a plus
